Summer snapdragons (Angelonia) are both heat and drought tolerant.  Although the actual flowers are dainty on these upright flowers there are LOADS of them giving big impact.   Can be used as cut flowers.

Cape Daisy

Cape Daisy (Osteospermum) have a pretty daisy-like appearance.  They come in lots of different colors and have a signature purple ‘ring’ around the center of the flower.  They are happy in sun to part sun and work well in both the landscape and basket combos.  In the landscape, they are quite drought tolerant compared with many annuals.  Assorted varieties.  Please visit for current season offerings.

Zinnias

Zinnias are a garden favorite for good reason! They offer bright, colorful blooms even in heat and drier conditions.  Try some of these in larger pots or in your garden.  Deadhead early on and the plant will become extra bushy.  Zinnias can also be used for cutflowers to brighten up your kitchen counter.
