What would summer be without fresh pesto or salsa? Fresh herbs add lots of flavor to any dish. Many even have healing medicinal qualities. Herbs are very easy to grow so they are a good choice for beginning gardeners. Most herbs will enjoy a sun to part-sun position and well drained soil. Mints are an exception—they can tolerate full shade and prefer moist soil. We offer both perennial and annual types. Herbs are attractive to many pollinators such as bees and butterflies.
